Municipal Park of Ronneburg
Municipal Park of Ronneburg
In the municipal park of Ronneburg, a green belt was created below the historical castle from the early 13th century. Around the newly designed pond called Baderteich, which is also a popular meeting place of the young people, playgrounds and recreational areas were created. From here you can get to the former historical Mühltal to the core zone "Neue Landschaft Ronneburg". For this purpose, the railway embankment of the central German railway connection, which was built in 1962, was reopened. Altogether, 70,000 m³ of soil were dismantled. The train now crosses a 78 m long, 15 m high and 12 m wide steel arch bridge, which cost all in all 3.5 million Euros.
