Lichtenberger Kanten

Coming from the Ronneburg Balcony, the 26 m high discovery tower is located in an ideal position for an observation point. From this tower, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the "Lichtenberger Kanten", which have a complete length of approximately 1000 m.
The interesting looking shape of the landscape reminds a person of the Bermen (artificially created terraces) of the open-cast mining area formerly present in this area. This shape is emphasized by 175 newly planted oak trees.
