BUGA 2007

Under the basic idea of "From Municipal Park to Municipal Park", the District of Greiz along with the cities of Gera and Ronneburg are organising the Nationwide Horticultural Show for 2007. About 110 million Euros worth of long-lasting projects are being invested in that show. In addition to that, another 30 million Euros is being invested for the events as well as the horticultural exhibitions.

For first time in the history of the Nationwide Horticulture Shows there will be two separate exhibition areas,

the "Neue Landschaft" in Ronneburg and the "Hofwiesenpark" in Gera,

which are connected with each other through an original landscape valley. This valley offers ideal opportunties for relaxation, sports, leisure, and social gatherings.
